Royalties which are currently only 9 cents a song, the RIAA wants to cut to 6 cents for more record label profitability. Think about this the next time you pay $17.99 or more for -Read more- an album of AOL, Yahoo and Real Audio Networks are involved also to the extent they support the RIAA and DiMA efforts.

Time to Kick some

This Blog and Pod Cast kinda sums up what this site is really here for. This site truly has the potential to knock out the RIAA and it's Thugs. The technology and the reach is basically what they are so afraid of. They will try to lock in every and all artist under their control, therefore rendering the true power of a site like this useless. A first punch knock out so to speak. It amazes me how many aspiring musicians think that the only way to make it big is with these kind of supporting companies. If they would open up their minds and look around them they could easily see how easy it really is to beat these idiots at their own game. It's all about the power of numbers in people and then putting together a unison counter punch to the presently existing companies that you mentioned in your blogcast. Imagine what could happen if this site were to reach a 1 million user base with each musician collectively pulling in advertisement payouts as well as a site wide 25% fund raising program based on total ad revenue. This is some serious money that I would easily pledge from this site just to start the fight. I would gladly accept endorsements from other musicians who have already been down this road and got totally raped by the system and are thoughrowly done with playing this game they play. I don't have to mention who their names are because I would probably get a memory overflow on this editor that I am typing on before I could finish the list. Listen, if you are a musician this is truly the time to fight the system. No better time than now actually. We run the membership up to the sky and we use a large portion of the site's money to group promote. I guarantee you one thing if we successfully promote anything from this site. The artist will get a hell of a lot more than 9 cents per song. Can anybody tell this pisses me off. Who are these stupid idiots anyhow, who do they think they are? The Raping of the music industry has got to stop once and for all and Jamacast has the potential to make that happen. If you can't understand how this can be stopped. It goes back to what I have been saying all along. Musicians have to help Musicians. We have to become a one large Borg type of unit. Jamacast is the collective ship to make this happen. The funds generated from this site will be dispersed in an equally and fair arrangement. All musician will be equally promoted and everything will be divided. This is based on the overall 25% figure that will be generated from ad revenue site wide. Money talks and we have all heard that one right. We get users, we will get advertisers. It's that simple. In order to make this happen I am offering a recruiter number up for anyone interested in trying to promote this site. You get $3.00 for every user who signs up for a premium membership subscription. Anytime that user or any user uses your number when they sign up you will get $3.00 for that user sign up as well and so on and so on. I am going to offer this for a limited time only as a test. If I see that it is actually working , then it will stay. If you are interested, Private message me and I will assign you a number.

Grr

If this happened with any other profession im sure that those affected would be downing their tools. Musicians should switch off their amps in protest.

RIAA Training Video

I found this Video, you guys have to check this out if you haven't already. This is unbelievable and shows that they will stop at nothing to dominate the Music Industry. Even if it means fabricating and exploiting false or mis represented data. I mean just what are the facts as far as percentages of royalties being lost here and are the artist really being hurt here or is it just that the RIAA thugs fear that their strangle hold on their world domination of the Music Industry is at stake and this is just a fear tactic of some sort?

I am willing to bet that there are more up standing regular Joes in America alone who participate in this so called criminal activity than the entire world population of hardened criminals and the sort.

Give it a few months or so

Give it a few months or so and they'll be linking pirated cd copies to terrorism...its a smoke screen cos they are the real terrorists..these bastards are trying to control something that has belonged to Human Beings since the first stick struck a piece of wood. Its a sad shame that so many artists blindly put their trust in these theives and its these artists that are feeding the monster, its about time musicians woke up and realised that they dont need corporate aresholes to distribute their product. If these artist had one bone of talent in their bodies then they should realise that the music should sell itself if its any good. The only reason they go down the Riaa path is to sell their soul, cos they know that aggressive marketing will be applied to whatever the artists want to distribute, at a price (your soul) even if the product is a complete pile of shit , they'll sell it. What happened to the ideals of the punk thing? Yeah, there are a lot of folk who still believe in and practice DIY but there are more out there that don't even know it exists or is possible, these people are the catalysts that allow these bullies to apply their strong arm to the rest. And these are the types that want a fast track to making a lot of $$s and they arent nesesarily even musicians witha passion for music, just some rich kid who wants to be in the limelite for 5 minutes...
Andy Warhol told us in the 60s that "everyone has 15 minutes of fame,
Well now that were in the 21st century and thanx to bullie boys, that 15 minutes has been reduced to 5 minutes,,,it'll soon be made law.
I feel ashamed that something ive always loved and loved doing has to be bastardised by some fat greedy senile idiots in their seats of power, breathing horror by the hour. Taking full advantage of what DOES NOT and never will belong to them,,If it was left to them, All musicians will be pressganged into working in music factories creating formulated music from a set of ingredients, and distributing it to the rest of the population effectively removing the soul from the music and the artist/s. Independant musicians will be put in the same categorie as terrorists, child molesters and drug dealers and will be dealt with
accordingly. We will be told what to listen to and when. lol i'm not really getting paranoid about it, but the realty of it will be made possible if everyone just sits back and lets this happen.
Fuck the RIAA and its cronies.
Dont be fooled, hold onto your lot, you make an easy target when your'e running on the spot!!!!
Right am gonna go kick a hippies dog (o:

Right on, most people don't

Right on, most people don't really realize that the so called million dollar houses and money that the lime lighters have is mostly borrowed money and they have to either pay it back developing a few more albums which only diggs them in deeper because along the way they incur even more cost's of some sort. They truly have a low net worth and most everything else is given to them for their souls. They are always in debt to their soul suckers. There are lots of artists out there making a great living doing their music without this RIAA controlled mechanism and there are Indie Artists starting to sell there stuff with their own efforts. It's actually these efforts that are waking up this giant. Groups like the Beat Assassins have sold 20,000 albums without support from the like of these monsters and the big label companies. Will you be the next Beat Assassin or just another Prostitute Artist?

Just think about the typical mind set of a regular joe who happens to play in a band. These 4 guys usually have a JOB that pays enough money to get by, pay the bills and then on weekends they go play to make some spending change etc. With their so called day JOB they drive to work and they drive home without getting payed for it, time equals money. So they are actually making a dollar less than they think they are making right off the get go usually for this loss of time and gas expense. The only thought and effort they give to their music efforts is a fleeting hour here and an hour there or while they are drinking a beer at the bar they are playing in. I hate to say it but the reason why these Big Dog Soul Sucking Bastards are where they are is because they work their gig 24/7. Most Joes don't even know where to begin not to mention that most are probably just lazy dreamers.

So the only way to make it happen is to get off our ass unite in groups and work it 24/7. This idea of going somewhere with music has to be worked just as much, actually even harder than they work at their day JOBS. Yes music is and never will be a free ride even when the likes of the RIAA and Big Label Companies are involved. They just take the big percentages of all of your efforts not to mention tie you down to binding contracts.
