Maybe relevant - I REALLY need to make some GUITAR music! The synth is always plugged in, so it's easy to go to. I need to make time and take the effort to plug in and play my guitar. I think the main thing is, with synth, I'm satisfied, to an extent, with a drum pattern to play over. With any guitar trax, the drums seem to need to be more dynamic and interesting. But me lack the patience to PLAY a more interesting drum part (on the synth with things/sounds mostly spaced out too far to really be dynamic, regardless if the drums are layed out in a standard manner... general midi or what. There's probably a way of doing it I don't know about or something. Some people have the patience for it, I do not). PadKontrol may help, if I get to playing on it well and can rock out some drums. I'm gonna hafta go to GC and see if they have one to mess around with. See if I really like it. Seems cool, but I really don't know how good I'd be at tapping out drums... but surely better than programing drums... right... yeah, maybe! Def hafta get a pedal for kick d. Maybe I'll just buy a drum kit and get midi triggers for it, um not gonna happen. I'll figure it out eventually. Damn... if I just didn't like prog metal/rock maybe I'd be satisfied with a drum pattern. I'm rambling.... :op

Can I borrow Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, drums) LOL!
Even if you don't like prog metal, Dream Theater is ridiculously good, IMHO.
I'll go now.
Stay groovy!
