Hello everyone just an update on the player. It now has just about the entire jamacast catalog of songs on it now and should offer up a better experience for all of our on lookers or should I say on listeners. A bigger playlist is always a good thing. I am starting to make contact with various producers and sponsors so hopefully things will start to open up for us on my original intentions for us jamacast musicians in the future. I will be posting info on an upcoming contest that will take the cake as far as this sites contests go, a contest with 3 prize levels that will also include outsiders that are not even members of the site. This is in an effort to drive more people and awareness to the site and it will also draw attention to our jamacast collective CD exclusive collaboration project. This contest will probably start around mid june and it will go on for a three month period. I will post all details on the contest approx 2 weeks before it starts.

This whole sites success is really about it's rich content and interesting people involved. You guys are all great people and musicians. Keep up the great content. Yes bells and whistles on a site are nice but truly it comes down to the people involved and the content that they are about that really makes a site popular and important. I emphasize the word "important". A site has to impact a person and become important to them if you want them to continually keep returning to our site. I also emphasize the words "our site". Again this is the whole concept of the jamacast collective, we are all the site collectively. Go out and work this site, contact people on other sites like blogs , forums, Facebook, Myspace etc and ask them to come here and join up and participate. This is how a site grows, make this effort become a weekly or monthly, heck even daily habit if you can. Lets drive this site together.
