Necromanos Music page redesign and Jamacast banner
I just redesigned my Necromanos Music page. I don't know if anybody went to the old one. It's just a simple page with my Reverbnation player on it. I made a new "Necromanos" image for the player and designed a Jamacast banner that more matched with the theme of the page. I do like the Jamacast logo banner here, but the colors were a bit too bright for my page, though I wanted to put a link/banner on it.

Wow, that's a superb layout. Sharp and contrasty, nice colors. Each pixel at the right position, that's the way I like it ;o)
Like your page and the
Like your page and the Jamacast Banner is very cool. I would like to use it for a replacement to my orange banner above with your permission. It gives it a darker mood which is what I have been wondering might be a better concept for a musicians web site? I think what I might do is get a vote from all of you guys on this to see what all of you think about this. We will always have our little mascot Jammin Jimmy on the player so the banner really doesn't need to have him.

You can use it
Sure you can use the banner. I still kept "Jammin' Jimmy" in the background - cool little guy. A darker themed site might look good. It seems many music related sites go with a darker theme. Looks more high tech, perhaps. But then the way it is now looks good too. So I guess I'm undecided.
Logo Resized, if needed
Here's the logo I made resized to the same dimensions as your original - if you wanted to keep it the same size.
Just save/use whichever one works best.
Believe it or not my first
Believe it or not my first logo looked very similar to yours although not as good. I made it way back when I was just pondering the idea of a music site and different names for it. I used the Gimp and used the cool metal plugin for the text and then I brought it into a program called Xara to shape the text more how yours looks and then back into the Gimp for some really cool layering. I got rid of most of that work because it was a concept idea that I thought I would never really go about doing a music site. Then when splice came around I was motivated in doing a music site again. My original music web site way back was called I Got The Beat hence my name IGTB. Glad I did eventually do this web site, I am having fun with this site and meeting all of you guys. Admittedly it is not sophisticated yet. In time it will grow to a more popular and technical site. Still cutting my teeth here on this one. I am just about done with my graphics for the animated online jammin jimmy, that will be pretty cool too.
Speaking of graphics, everybody should upload better user profile images that meet a 125px by 125px dimension. The system will resize them accordingly but on the new profile screens anything smaller will be stretched and look ugly.
