This is where this site helps other musicians. Operating costs take care of production costs and promotional efforts for the premium members on this site and pay for server costs and upgrades etc and towards some of the non sponsored contest we will run on occasion.

Site Advertisements !!!

Another way Jamacast helps musicians is by sharing it's advertisement revenue. Whenever a business advertises their products or services on our jamacast player, 25% of this revenue is given directly to the musician that has the advertisement placed next to their song on the player. Also 25% of any site wide advertising revenue is shared with all premium musicians as a separate fund itself that is monitarily divided up by the number of premium users subscribed on Jamacast.

Jamacast is trying to help musicians as well as casual listeners of music to better understand that there are other ways to promote and be successful with their music endeavors without being controlled by large corporate RIAA backed labels.

The RIAA are responsible for going after law makers, lobbyists and congressmen, to establish rigid constraints against the interest of the artists and the fans. In some cases the artists only receive 6 cents per track on a CD that may cost as much as $15.00 - $20.00 in stores. This is simply not acceptable. The RIAA is now trying to prevent artists from receiving any money from the download purchases of their own music.
