Well the good news is I will be updating the server to a new hosting site. This will take a lot of burden off my back as far as setting up and maintaining the security of a local system, the costs will be much easier to bear as well. This new server will be much larger and will be able to handle a much larger bandwidth demand. This will make it easier to add some very interesting enhancements to the site also. Such enhancements will be allowing all users to have most of the premium features, that is, all but revenue sharing. Revenue sharing is a mute point at this time but will grow in the future, have no doubts about that. Just as an example of other sites revenue sharing. I have a music account at reverbnation and I have only earned a little over $4.00 to date, I've had that account over 1 yr now. These things have to do with many other factors I'm sure that I am not a part of but that is another topic for another day. If we were to get just one paid advertiser we would all have much more than that amount as soon as they paid for the advertisement. I know a lot of you could care less about the money side of this site and music industry but I like to keep everything on the open about it all. When we do finally start getting advertisers on this site and from off site promotions. I will be adding a little box on the site that keeps the fund score so to speak for all of us premium users to see at all times. I am also developing a local web site that is for my home state that will attract many advertisers to it also, a portion of that money will go to this site as well. I'll put up a link to that site at a later datel. I am still working on the Profile area for premium members and I will keep you all updated with that progress too.

Some things to look forward to sometime after the server upgrade are:

* New Premium User Profile Management screens
* Live stream podcasts and music info shows etc
* Local competitions using our sites music to raise funds for the site
* skype feature
* Icecast Streaming radio feature
* New Buddy Chat Lounge using Ruby Rails server
* Normalization of music player so that it doesn't make you spill your coffee all over you haha
* Assignment of roles for other contributors for the site such as a Music News Podcast Column, a Music Equipment Review Column, Music Instructor Column, more ideas always welcome. We will grow this site together.
* I will be implementing a Classified ad section to the site as well
* Also we will be having some more contests in the future after the server upgrade is completed. I Apologize for the delays with this one guys, I guess I could always bake up some fruit cakes for prizes to give away haha, still trying to work out some sponsorships with this one.
* Jamacast Musician(s) of the month will be changed to another location below the Player and will not interfere with main content flow anymore. They will be linking to the users profile page instead of widgets.
* work will commence on a new player skin that will be more of a match to the site graphical look and colors.
* I will also try to get a larger audio upload file size limit somewhere in the neighborhood of 10MB for you drone developers out there like myself.
* we will try to re-attempt the Jamacast Collective Project meeting place again also. This will be a major player in the world wide recognition of this site.
