Nice tune 5/5
I sometimes find myself so embedded into what im doing that when someone says something to me it almost feels like theyre rudely interupting. I hate this because how the fuck can i be so shallow as to let a bunch of 1s and 0s preside (i think thats the right word) over a fellow human being. Its not as though im making a living out of the thing (or anything to be precise).
I hate it when i feel like this because i consider myself a good listener, but behaving in this manner makes me a hippocrite. And lying to yourself isnt a good thing. And isolating yourself inside a computer can't be a healthy thing to do,,, i mean, how the hell do you go to the loo? i'm not peeing on those circuits.
I wonder what would happen if everybody stopped using the internet for one month. I bet it would disrupt most everything in the entire world and if you could peer down from the sky above to watch everybody, they would be twitching around like little maggots in a bowl of shit. I think this is the new drug of this generation. It's almost like every 10-15 years a new drug comes out into the public. Now that the internet and all of it's functionalities are starting to make real percussions in the world, it would be so hard now to remove it from one's life. I know I would get the shakes and be irritable.
It is however something I will have to adapt to, I just will have to make sure I don't keep getting so closely to OD'ing on it that it disrupts my family life any further than it already has. Is this kinda like denial lol.
You know how it was way back in the 60's,70's and early 80's when some bands were interviewed and they were wacked out durring the interviews and they would make comments like when I'm high I get more creative juices flowing. Comments like that reminds me of how this tune was created for me but from the effects of another drug called the internet. Some of those earlier day songs were very creative in their own way for sure, but when these bands sobered up they also found creativity else where too. It's like everything else in life a good balance is OK just don't go over board with it. Here I go ranting again!!
Self inflicted isolation
