I call this JigSaw cos it sounds to me like a few types of musical styles that seem to fit together (i think)
I feel it needs some colour added on the FX side of things but cant think of or find anything thats suitable or works. So if i post it here someone may come up with a supertastic idea that makes it shine. more.
Winter sucks but not like politicians
Yea they both are cold and heartless
But at least winter only comes once a year
Wait maybe winter's just like a republican
If you are the poor you'll be gettin screwed
If it's like a Democrat you will be gettin sued
Oh yeah this song was going to be about winter
What the hell winter sounds pretty sweet
when you think about politics and corruption
All their war's death and destruction
Wasteful spending lies and deceit
Makes you wonder if they are the real criminals
Maybe we could throw em all in a pile
This is my second song to the contest "I`m Sick of Winter".
The orginale title is "The Fight"
My Bass, my guitar, my gob and about 50 drum samples.
m a nothing from nowhere ,that nobody knows
Never amounted to nothing, my acount is all zeros.
Got even less cents , closer to forclose
Nothings happening here, thats why the door is closed.
I got Nothing
Nuthin Butt You
Nothing else really matters
But nothing else will ever do
Nothing from nothing leaves nothing I'm told
Nothing aint nothing if you aint got gold
Nothing ever happens till da money gets stole
Nothing really matters when you're too old
I got Nothing
Nuthin Butt You
Nothing else really matters
But nothing else will ever do
I think its good, but i think the melody is destroying the song
it doesn`t match.
But i uploaded it here to hear what u ppl think.
uhmm .... i would have left a comment saying " the drums sound like an old man , the bass is a little off , and the last lead should be removed " but that would make me a bad person, so instead i did this. New drums baby, and a few other bits. Anyway my point is that you need more umphhh in your drums , a steady rythm ( i mean the bass doesn't need to go up and down like it's on fire , and no cheesy leads for this kind of stuff ).
Hope you like your little project :P
edit .. i forgot to put the open hihats xD
Slow pop ballad about two friends who lost their dream.
Wrote it when I was in a rather sentimental mood. So it turned out quite simple and technically far from perfect (jolty vocals, monotonous backing synth, suboptimal balanced tracks). However, after having listened to the draft mixdown twice, I didn't mind, cos my basic intention was to carry the lyrics. On the other hand - if you're in such a weepy disposition you don't care for details.
The short spoken words clip (at the end of the chorus) is a kind contribution of Splicer mate Of_The_Ego.
Sound interpretation of a lucid dream - beware: it's NOT mainstream!
Inspired by the graphical artwork 'The Reality Inside The Dream' by splicer dvsoria.

Splicer dvsoria is graphics artist from the Philippines. I admire his fashion magazine drawings and his comic-like style. When i first saw his picture 'The Reality Inside The Dream', a dozen of strange and surreal thoughts came into my mind immediately. Composing this tune was like a journey through the subconscious... weird and experimental.
Open Your Mind
Raggae style ballad
In 1985 my friend Lutz (no musician) and me were sitting in the kitchen, drinking and talking about music. He asked me if it was difficult to write a song. I replied that chords and melody are easy to find but it's always hard work to get some lyrics (at least for me). So just for fun we started to invent rhyming text lines alternately. I wrote them down and added a couple of chords the next day. Then I put it aside and forgot it for a pretty long time.
In january 2008 I happened to rediscover it in a pile of old papers and published it as a raggae on Splice.
Urban rock/triphop ballad about bleakness of niteclubbin scenes, trying to find answers and reaching decisions even they lead to isolation.

Simple pop song (german text) about unsatisfied love, what else?
Somewhere in 1999 I used to go to my favourite pub for a late night chess play at the weekends. One day I noticed a beautiful girl standing alone at the bar. I fell (a bit) in love with her and considered to make a pass on her after the match, but when the chess game was over, she was gone. Neither bartender nor waitress knew her and in fact I never met her again. You can call it checkmate...
Techno/trance study based on a conceptional draft by Skyhawk.
Thanks to Toddnrgi and IdisidI for inspiration. Additional synth by IGTB (Caitlyn excerpt).
Three versions of a groovy tune is not enough. Last night I spliced number four, just for the fun of it.

This song is inspired of some Eurodance/Trance music i heard for some days ago.
I really want to hear some remixes or a comment or something.
And maybe a tip or two on how i can be better.
=)
My entry for the "jamacast Heartbeat competition" Enjoy (o:
French chanson style pop song (with english refrain, feat. fenix)
The Blue Danube by Strauss totally ruined by fart-2-itive midi-master Talltechson . Please don't laugh as hard as I did my stitches still hurt.
Acapella tribal
Song about throwing troubles into a deep swamp and hoping they will never appear any more. Yeah, life can be that easy...
My first try to create an acapella song on Splice. Well, to be honest, after having recorded and arranged my vocal clips, I thought that something was missing. So I added an unobtrusive synth bass line and a jungle soundtrack to bring out kinda swamp atmosphere.
Took the idead of " Kick the Bass", but with a new bass,
and no cheesy melody. ;)
Put on a acid, string and some arps.
Remix of one of my brother's instrumental compositions (Cubase test: guitar, piano, drums), added some voices and a tibetan chanting intermezzo.

Persiflage about a guy searchin his afghanian, not knowing he unwittingly fed it to the ducks.
This tune was inspired by The Three Stages Of Duck by splicer Of_The_Ego.

Tommy wrote the tune and the lyrics. I added my dulcet tones.

Australian outback soundscape, meditative and chilling ambience - Vocal crew (Splice mates) in alphabetical order: arobee1134, bram, idisidi.
And no, I haven't the faintest idea what the hell these blokes are doing with the stones.

Wrote this song in 1985. It has german lyrics and was originally played only by guitar. This version, however, is an extended one with drums/synth, as always created by using the Splice sequencer.
Once again a german Pop Ballad about saying good-bye when love is gone (title: It's getting cold). A cover version from a song I wrote in 1985, which was a quite creative year. And yes Sir, apparently I'm unable to write happy love songs...

Chilling psychodelic journey through canyon landscapes, based on a conceptional theme by Necromanos.

Raggae style Popsong.
Just a nice little tune which I couldn't get out of my head. So I spliced it on the fly... enjoy.
Club version of Rock oldie "The Letter".
This is my first modern cover version of an evergreen. If you listen carefully, you'll hear that I slightly altered the lyrics, now it goes: ... my baby wrote me an email. Furthermore I've inserted a little choral intermezzo to go beyond 3 minutes - the original song is only 1:58.
OK I am short and round with scars and tattoos ,but what has that got to do with my music!

Slightly modernized version of a traditional Turkish folksong (ΓskΓΌdar'a gideriken); vocals by EVRiM.
