Hey guys I've been neglecting our forum too!!! Lots of times we just come here to see what's new and then go on to whatever it is we are doing. The key here is to make something interesting each and everytime we come to the site. However with busy schedules thats often hard to do, I do this myself. My main concern right now is with whether we should get rid of the forum or not? I have been keeping an eye on it and nobody is using it except for the few things we have labeled already and put up.

Just to let everybody know, Jamacast is now hosting Mp4 Ipod Video files from the events located in the Jamacast On Location section of the site. To get to the Jamacast On Location just click on the animated film image at the top right part of the site. These files are of different sizes and prices, but the prices are from .50 to $1.49. You are getting a much greater value for your money with these files. Compare a five minute itunes Music Video @ $1.99 to our 25-30 minute Video @ $1.49.

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to blog about a few new things that I have been working on for the site.

* New feature just added --- Private Messages can now have file attachments to them. You have the ability to upload files of 64MB in size and a total per user of 1Gig. Available for (AOIM)memebers only.

Hello everyone, it's looking good for jamacast in a lot of ways. I had a very good Jamacast On Location event and have put up a new section that is dedicated to this effort. The area will showcase the event and it's musicians. This area will feature movies of the event as well as special products related to the Event, it's musicians and sponsors as well as Jamacast itself. When Jamacast host a new event this event will be replaced in the main Jamacast On Location part of the site and moved to an archive area where it can always be accessed at later dates.

We now have the WYSIWYG blogging featured installed. So now you guys have more control on how your blogs look and feel.

Just like your favorite word processor you can change fonts and sizes and add pictures inline into your blogs. Make sure you watch your spelling because as of right now the spell check is not working. I'll look into the spell checker.

As I grew up with my friends and always wanting to be in a rock band that got played on the radio. Wow, I bet a lot of you may have had this familiar dream? Well as I grew older and realised the chances of this happening were like winning the lottery I gave up the notion many years ago. Recently as I have become more and more involved in the independent music arena I have become so much more aware of how these younger dillusions become such a pitfall for so many young aspiring musician. Think of how often we hear the same basic groups of music selections over and over on the radio.

I'm thinking about having a Jamacast International Music Scholarship Olympics. Basically this will be a combination of music competitions from various users from different countries, as well as visitor participation from such various countries. So the individual monthly competitions would be scored as Gold, Silver and Bronze. We would also score the visitor rankings from various countries as scores for the individual countries. These scores would accumulate towards the final ranking of the countries involved.

Oops, I felt it necessary to edit the real life comparison of this story/poem/song out of this post, in an effort to not hurt that particular person if she were to be directed here to read it. So one or two of you know the truth, that's cool.
