Here's another free reverb plug in. This one is a DX plug in (DirectX). It has some interesting reverb/room environments to play with. Soundstage by Cakewalk.

An experimental mixer (like me) is always looking for interesting freeware effects to polish clips and tracks; and one of the most used aids is probably the reverb/delay section. From subtle enhancement to echoing madness even the dullest sound can be turned into a catching bit of audio.

Today, once again, I stumbled upon smartelectronix and the gifted guys behind. One of them, Magnus, created a versatile reverb effect called Ambience. When I hastily tested the demo a while ago, I must have been dozy and wasn't aware of its sophisticated features. Now, that I've given it another try, I'm pretty much surprised to see it's actually a very handy tool for shaping pads, drones and atmospheres.

Now even available as full (nag-free) version, this VST is surely worth a look:

Hiya! I entered the Linkin Park "Catalyst" remix contest too. I redid the synth parts, vocal mix/delay and new drums. Oh, and put a flanger on the piano part just for kicks!
