Well the good news is I will be updating the server to a new hosting site. This will take a lot of burden off my back as far as setting up and maintaining the security of a local system, the costs will be much easier to bear as well. This new server will be much larger and will be able to handle a much larger bandwidth demand. This will make it easier to add some very interesting enhancements to the site also. Such enhancements will be allowing all users to have most of the premium features, that is, all but revenue sharing.

I wanted to take the time to apologize to all members for the apparent slow down on various aspects of this site including but not limited to contests. I do intend to put up some more contests in the future and hopefully make this site even a bit funner by doing some "WIP" contests and off site contests etc. The reason for my slow downs or delays are more to do with some personal aspects of my life that are taking a large amount of my time and energy for the moment.

Well I think it is time to do some face lift work on the site. There are just to many text links and it has become a bit to wordy I think. I will be taking the site to a 2 column design instead of the current 3 column style and I will slowly be removing most of the text menus with a more graphic cube or button style look. I will be implementing these changes over the next few months. The online now area to the right will go away. Do you guys use the weather module yet?

Hello everyone just an update on the player. It now has just about the entire jamacast catalog of songs on it now and should offer up a better experience for all of our on lookers or should I say on listeners. A bigger playlist is always a good thing. I am starting to make contact with various producers and sponsors so hopefully things will start to open up for us on my original intentions for us jamacast musicians in the future.

I have been spending the last week trying to figure out just what it is that motivates users to join music related web sites. What I have sadly discovered is that Glam and Cool out weighs individual promotional and marketing knowledge savvy as well as Money Motivation. Lets take a look at what I have found.

In the Video TV World you have whats referred to as Video Impressions, This is also applied to the Print world as well. So lets analyze this for a moment. When you go to the other sites and add content where does that content display and how often does it display to the worlds public viewing.. I just added a profile to the all mighty Yourspace web site and added some of my music content. Where did it go?

Audacity Sequencer is a sequencer that is up to most semi professional tasks when it comes to sequencing sound loops. This program is probably not as popular or as technically finished as some other well known programs such as Cake Walk,Sonar, Pro Tools,Adobe Audition etc but these programs were designed for a lot more than just sequencing and are much more expensive. The best part about Audacity is that it is free and open source, not confined or restricted under proprietary license. Also in practical terms it's really not that far behind any of these programs as well.
