Hey y'all! I'm still around. I've been busy with mother-in-law visit and some oh so fun painting the bedroom. I did get a new toy for my birthday (this Saturday, 12th) and have been getting familiar with it... any guesses as to what my new toy is... look through my previous posts and you might can figure it out. Hopefully I'll get some new music up soon!!

Rock On!

I just redesigned my Necromanos Music page. I don't know if anybody went to the old one. It's just a simple page with my Reverbnation player on it. I made a new "Necromanos" image for the player and designed a Jamacast banner that more matched with the theme of the page. I do like the Jamacast logo banner here, but the colors were a bit too bright for my page, though I wanted to put a link/banner on it.

I plan on making it to the project meeting - however, my cable internet connection has been going in and out all day today. So if I'm not there, the cable is out. It just came on after a 4 hour stretch of nothing. Comcast bites. :op

Maybe relevant - I REALLY need to make some GUITAR music!

Korg PadKontrol. I think I may have to get one of these. Sure I could theoretically do the same thing on my keyboard, but it would be much easier to pound out some drums with this. Plus it will control anything midi. Check out the guy drumming on it in the vid. Regardless of what you think of the song, that's some pretty good pad drumming.

I found an old picture of me from around 1984. Sitting on my amp, playing guitar. I scanned it, altered it. "Necromanos in Neon". Peavy amp, Carvin guitar, Van Halen "1984" t-shirt. Notice the boom box and my old synth in the background. Um... big 80's metal hair! lol!

I came across a widget with sounds made by the same kind of old synth I have. It's a Korg Delta, which were made around 1979/80. Totally analog! It sounds really cool through my guitar FX. The sweeps in my song "Tech Support" were made using it. Widget is on the full post.
